“If you are traveling in Europe, then GAM GAM is the best place to be for Shabbat. Nothing else can ever compare.” Tanya, Israel
All year, Chabad of Venice offers Shabbat options for all visitors & community members. Women & girls can light Shabbat candles together. We hold Shabbat services in the Yeshiva synagogue in the Ghetto & after the prayers, you can enjoy a truly amazing Shabbat experience. Shabbat meals are by reservation only and Take Away is also available. Reserve at www.jewishvenice.org.
Come sing the songs you know & learn some new ones too! Live with the times & learn about the weekly Torah portion while one of our yeshiva bochurim gives a Dvar Torah. Trade stories with new friends from around the globe. At our Shabbat table, you will find a Jew who only speaks French, one who speaks Hebrew, another who speaks only English, yet after they say “HaMotzi Lechem Min Haaretz” on the challah, everyone is completely united. This past tourist season, there were Shabbatot which drew approximately 800 people.
There is food & fun for everyone, with complete Shabbat meals with all the trimmings. With decades of catering expertise, Chabad of Venice shares with you a Shabbat that is abundant, well-organized & where each person is made to feel personally taken care of. We hope to see you soon in Venice.

“Do not miss Shabbat at GAM GAM!!!” Reviewed April 17, 2012 NEW The experience that we shared at GAM GAM was a lovely, welcoming Shabbat ! If you are Jewish and in Venice for the Shabbos, seek them out! It is a once in a lifetime experience! We also ate other meals at GAM GAM and the food, value and service are all impeccable! If you are back-packing through Europe or even an older couple, like my husband and myself, you will find GAM GAM is the Jewel of the Ghetto! Simply wonderful! Visited April 2012
